After a bit of a quiet spell here at the Burn Series, we’re so excited to say that the festive spirit is officially creeping in — and we couldn’t resist celebrating in true Burn style!
For the first time ever, we’re hosting a Christmas Burn event… and not just anywhere — this one’s taking place at the actual home of the Burn Series, right here at Llantrithyd Park, our private estate in the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan.
Mark your calendars for Saturday 13th December 2025, because this is going to be one for the memory books!
🦌 A Festive Fun Adventure Run!
Choose between:
5km (two laps) – around 120 metres of climbing
2.5km (one lap) – around 60 metres of climbing
The route follow the Park Shelterbelt along grassy 4x4 tracks. Expect wet grass and mud (of course!), fresh winter air, and a few friendly deer looking on from the distance — can you spot Rudolph?… 👀
Whether you’re a family looking for a fun challenge, a club runner, or someone who just wants to soak up the festive vibes, this is your perfect December adventure!

📍 Venue: Llantrithyd Park, Bonvilston, Vale of Glamorgan, CF5 6TQ
📅 Date: Saturday 13 December 2025💷 Cost: £10 per junior / £20 per adult
🕗 Registration opens: 8:00 AM
🏁 Race starts: 9:00 AM
🎉 Post-race hangout: Until 1:00 PM – with music, food, and plenty of festive cheer!
Categories:Men, Women, Under 18, Under 12 – choose your distance (2.5km or 5km).
Every finisher gets a medal.
🍔 After the Race
Warm up and wind down with hot dogs, burgers, music, and the chance to socialise with other runners (not forgetting the other park animals).
Our Deer Park shop will be open, selling venison, antlers, and other park treats – perfect for Christmas gifts or your festive table.
