🏃 2.6km Trail Run / Walk / Jog

Your adventure kicks off with a fully signed, circular 2.6km trail loop around the stunning Penllyn Estate. Families can run, jog or walk, with mini adventure challenges breaking up the route.

This section is all about getting everyone involved and working together from the very start.

🚴 4.5km Off-Road Cycle to a Secret Wild Lake

Next, you’ll hop on your bikes for a 4.5km off-road cycle, mainly on track and trail, heading deep into the estate towards a hidden wild lake (yes — it really is secret 👀).

At the lake, the Mini Burn team will be waiting to guide you through a safe, smooth kayak transition.

🛶 Kayaking – Beginner Friendly & Fully Supported

Never kayaked before? No problem at all.

This kayaking challenge is designed to be simple, safe and confidence-boosting for the whole family.

✔ Stable, family-friendly kayaks

✔ All equipment provided.

That includes buoyancy aids for both adults and children. Even if you’ve never stepped foot in a kayak before, our team and equipment will look after you.

🗺️ Treasure Hunt Navigation Challenge

Once you’ve finished splashing, it’s time to switch on your brains.

Families take on a treasure-hunt-style navigation challenge, reading a map to locate hidden checkpoints around the estate. This is where teamwork, communication and problem-solving really shine ✨

You’ll finish strong with an 8km cycle, mostly on track and trail with just a tiny bit of road — and of course…
