January Burn Trail Run - Llantrithyd Deer Park

Delivering proper off-road conditions and plenty of smiles, we welcomed 64 runners to the January Burn Trail Run to run an undulating, fully off-road course through one of the most beautiful parts of South Wales. It was a rare opportunity to explore the historic deer park and experience the beauty of nature up close.
Most runners were treated to deer sightings, with several reporting a stag too—always a special moment and a reminder of just how unique this course is.
Even more exciting, two junior runners placed in the Top 3 on the one-lap course, highlighting the incredible talent coming through and the huge potential of our younger athletes.
Nature, wildlife, and future champions—this one had it all.
We have decided that during the winter months we will be limiting the entry field to 60 runners to ensure the course stays in tip top condition. Never a queue or a squeeze – just pure, unadulterated running.
