From start to finish, this event is all about teamwork. You’ll stick together as a family, tackling challenges one by one. Whether it’s offering encouragement, lending a hand, or even carrying each other (literally!), this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
The Start Line:
When you’re ready, step up to the start arch where I, Maria Leijerstam, will personally welcome you. I’ll make sure you’re feeling confident and ready for the day ahead. Don’t hesitate to ask questions—there are no silly ones here!
The Race Schematic
1. Run Phase:
Begin with a run loop. To keep things fun (and distract those little legs), we’ve added obstacles along the way. It’s all about laughter and teamwork as you make your way back to the event center.
2. Bike Phase 1:
Hop on your bikes for a short, mostly flat ride to the magical lake. The scenery alone will take your breath away.
3. Kayak Phase:
At the lake, our team will gear you up for 15 minutes of paddling fun. No need to worry about equipment—we’ve got everything covered.
4. Navigation Challenge:
Post-kayak, grab a map and find a few checkpoints scattered around. We might even throw in some motivational surprises along the way—because who doesn’t love a good distraction?
5. Bike Phase 2
Here’s where it gets tough—a hill awaits! Break it down into manageable chunks with plenty of stops and chats with other families. At the top, enjoy treats we’ve placed there just for you. After conquering the hill, there’s still 3 km of undulating terrain left to cycle before heading back to our buzzing event center at Forage Farm Shop.
The Finish Line
As you approach the finish line, soak in the cheers and vibrant atmosphere. Every participant will receive a beautifully carved Mini Burn Medal—a keepsake of your incredible day.
