Description: The perfect Adventure Racing for adults and juniors. No experience required. For pairs and teams. Kayaks provided for all. Just bring a bike and experience Adventure Racing in a beautiful setting. Medals for all finishers.
Race timings: Staggered starts from 10.00 am. Your start time will be posted on this page a week prior to the event. The trophy giving will be at approximately 15:00.
- Family Team (2-4 participants with at least one junior under 10yrs old and one adult)
- Family Team (2-4 participants with at least one junior 10yrs old or over and one adult)
- Team (2-4 participants over 18 yrs)
- Club Team (2-4 participants over 15 yrs)*
*The Club Team category is for the Scouts, Duke of Edinburgh and other youth clubs. For group bookings of over 10 participants please contact us by e-mail in order to make the entry process simpler for you.
Cost: £25 per junior under 15 yrs, £35 per junior between 15 – 17yrs & £45 per adult.

£20 per junior under 15, £30 per junior between 15-17, £35 per adult
Distance & phases: 3km run to being with followed by a 1km kayak, 10km mountain biking & 2km foot navigation.
Foot phase: A predominantly flat run on hard-packed surfaces
Kayaking phase: The kayaking will be around 4 buoys in the lake. There will be plenty of water safety and we will be offering support and instruction if required. All kayaks and kayaking equipment is provided.
Cycling phase: The cycling is on hard and soft pack trails. There will be some more technical mountain biking and some road cycling both up and downhills. There will be a short course option available of approximately 5km. HELMETS MUST BE WORN.
Orienteering phase: Once you return from the cycle, you will be given a map which will feature five checkpoints. All you need to do is find them!
Bike Hire: If you do not have a bike, you will need to hire or borrow a bike from a friend. Margam Park Adventure now hire bikes for the event. Please contact them directly
Parking: Please park in the visitor’s car park at the main entrance.
Catering: Hot & Cold snacks and drinks will be available to purchase
